Be Nice !

Noah woke up and was just fine. 12 hours of sleep must have cured whatever he had.

So off we all went to church.

I mentioned that today was the Primary Program*. I did not tell you how we skipped church last week while in Moab and missed the 2 hour rehearsal yesterday because I had a race. Well, we did go, actually, for the last 5 minutes when they all were having Pizza. Noah refused to even sit down, though.

So Noah's part went like this:

He gets up to the pulpit, looks at me, I mouth: "I can serve others...", he says: "Be nice!" In his authoritative little voice. Really, he is saying: "... by being nice." But all everyone understands is: "Be nice!"

We still thought he was pretty cute. Actually, we were surprised he said anything at all. Not bad for a Sunbeam.

The rest of the time he is just hanging out with his two buddies Dylan and Nate up in the stands. Being silly as usual. I am not sure whose idea it was to have the three of them sit next to each other. Noah loved it.

After the program, one of the counselors gets up to bear his testimony and Max disappears in the stands. This time we let him be thinking that he will just go sit with Noah. After a few minutes, Karl decides to see what he is up to. Right then a little face with a big grin pops up next to the counselor and says: "Ha ha." Pretty funny.

I love Primary Programs. They are very spiritual, yet very entertaining.

* Alle 3-12 Jahre alten Kinder gestalten den Gottesdienst. In unserer Gemeinde sind das ungefaehr 70 Kinder.

Good job Noah and getting up in front of everyone. I can just picture him saying "be nice" in the same voice he says "I like you not" it makes me laugh thinking about it anyways even if he didn't say it like that. And he is really a sunbeam already??? Crazy

I loved Noah's part and was so proud of the Sunbeam class for how good they did. Dylan had a great time sitting on the stage, and by Noah and Nate during Sacrament meeting. Hopefully he won't be too disappointed next Sunday when he finds out it was just a once a year thing. :)

Hilarious--wish we could have been there. My kids would have loved that. Primary sacrament meetings are the best.
